What kind of file types can be uploaded?
We accept the following file types: *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.png, *.gif

What happens after I upload my files?
Your work is done! Because we are constantly reviewing artwork and ideas please allow us 5 business days to respond.

Does my design have to incorporate Dismay’s name or logo?
No. We believe that your artwork is solely yours, what goes on your designs and eventual tee shirts is your decision not ours.

How does my design get turned into a tee shirt?
We will work closely with you as the artist until we feel the design is marketable. When the design is marketable and an agreement has been reached, we will produce the T-shirt at our own cost and it will be sold on our website.

Where will Dismay Clothing advertise my design?
Dismay Clothing is constantly finding new and exciting ways to promote your product . Along with local advertising in Central & South Florida, we have several web advertising contracts and a direct email marketing campaign. We also have contacts in the Magazine industry and hope to place your most promising designs in national syndicates! Remember, for Dismay to succeed the designs that we choose to back must succeed so we are constantly searching for new innovative ways to get your art out on the streets!

Will dismay sell more than tee shirts in the future?
As of now we are only selling T-shirts, but that in no way means we are close minded to ideas! Feel free to shoot us an email with any new ideas you may have. designs@dismayclothing.com. We are always open to marketing your new ideas!

Why should I sell my designs through Dismay?
Dismay clothing is based off the strong belief that art should not be limited to paintings on the wall. We strive to take art off the wall and make it more a part of everyday society and cant think of a better way to do it than on clothes! We know that there are thousands of artists that have great designs that just need some exposure, what we offer is that exposure you are looking for... Along with a paycheck equivalent to 30% of the gross profit your designs generate!

What is gross profit?
Gorss profit is the net sales minus the cost of goods sold (ie the total sales - the cost to make the T-shirts).

How will I receive reimbursement for my design?
We pride our self on financial transparency and accountability, two things that will set Dismay apart ensuring you, the artist are receiving the royalties that you have earned and deserve. The Dismay store which has already been configured is just yearning to be filled with art from talented artists throughout the world. The store is set up so that artists, after logging in will have access to real time statistics on the performance of their products and the royalties they can expect to be receiving. Based on the information provided we will send you your payment at the end of every month either via check or direct deposit, it is completely up to you!
